The suburban and amazing style of the Brooklyn-based designer Josh Cochran gives us something to remember in the prints of those two tote bags.
A modern approach of the classics: the design is representing the famous German philosopher, Nietzsche, but with such glowing colors and Photoshop-like transparency layers which make the design almost Warholian. Working for magazines and advertising Josh has initially made this portrait for a biography but was also successful (and sold out) as a tote print.
The artist, who received awards from several publications and organizations, also reveals another hand-drawn design, a flamboyant landscape with stylized jellyfish in black and pink tones. This is one the most striking works from what appears to be “the jellyfish saga”. Cochran talks on his blog about the ocean fascination: “It holds a power both scary and awe inspiring”.
