Pinecone+Chickadee is a collaboration between graphic designer/illustrator, Amy Teh, and her musician husband, Noah DeFilippis. The duo work with screen printing to create their printed work. Pinecone+Chickadee is a small brand based in beautiful coastal Maine USA.
Pinecone+Chickadee have created bold graphic tote bag prints. The tiger and the broccoli print have a edgy quirky feel to them, which is a great look and feel for a tote bag. I can imagine carry these bags and taking them to my local super market or farmers market, and the tote bags would easily fit in and make friends with the other tote bags
Both tote bags are simple 2 colour prints, which have great coverage over the canvas tote bag, enough to capture the attention to anyone around you. Tigers generally hide them selves away before they pounce on their unknowing victims. This particular bold tiger print has no such cover to hide within, you’re going to be easily seen with this one. The broccoli tote bags is pretty cute, I can say im a big fan of broccoli, its one of those green which has a high health factor, that never swayed me, but drawing a cute face on broccoli, might have finally changed my mind about the vegetable. And im now willing to add it to my 5 a day.
